    Text message program and opt-in

AdvancedCare patient messaging, operated by AdvancedCare, Inc.

    About the program

AdvancedCare patient messaging is a text message program operated by AdvancedCare, Inc. We send appointment reminders, scheduling messages and other care-related messages on behalf of the practices that use AdvancedCare. Consent to receive these messages is optional and is not a condition of treatment or purchase.

    How patients opt in

A patient opts in by giving their mobile number to AdvancedCare clinic staff and agreeing to receive appointment and care-related text messages. That happens in person at the front desk, by phone, or on the clinic website at advancedcare.com when a patient books or registers.

The consent checkbox is unchecked by default. A patient has to check it themselves to opt in, and can decline without affecting their care or any other service.

    The consent checkbox patients see

I agree to receive recurring SMS text messages from AdvancedCare about appointments, scheduling, and front-desk replies at the number provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of treatment.

The box is unchecked by default and is never required to book an appointment or receive care.

The same consent language is shown to patients at the front desk, by phone, and wherever a patient registers online. See our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms.

    What you will receive

Messages are appointment and care related, for example:

    • Appointment reminders and confirmations
    • Scheduling changes and rescheduling requests
    • Replies from clinic staff when you contact the practice

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages to patients.

    Sample messages

AdvancedCare: Reminder - you have an appointment with [Clinic] on [Date] at [Time]. Reply C to confirm or R to reschedule. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

AdvancedCare: We missed your call. Reply to this text or call your clinic back to schedule. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

    Opting out and getting help

Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages from the program unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for help, or reply START to opt back in after stopping.

Opting out of text messages does not change your appointments or your care. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
